48 Hours until i'm free.

48 hours until i am done with work and i can return to my sloth like sleeping patterns and dissipate myself into the various directions that i'm heading with my Design, Drawing, Photography and i wont forget Holiday. It's been to long since i've sat down for a day and worked on designs, at the moment they are all just scraps on odd pieces of paper and where ever i can actually find a place to draw i.e Box's all over my work have now been sort of transformed by many of my random illustrations, pretty fun i must say. I was going to upload some of my new work, but that will have to wait as the up-loader is blocked for some reason. So stick around.

CELEBRATIONS!

So i heard today that i'm accepted into Cape Tech :D So absolutely stoked. Now i have motivation to upload some of my stuff i've been working on. My grade of work is now going to shoot up solidly so watch this space. I've also really gotten into car photography recently and have learnt a lot about post-processing and all that since i've had my new camera so i'll be uploading some of my shots here aswell :) Too stoked! x

I'm getting a new car, and it's a golf MK 2 as far as i know. S Ohere we go on a new project and im too amped. This car should be beast and beautiful. Euro style all the way.. My inspiration is the pic below except mine will be all white.

New piece i did this morning, inspired By a piece by Jared Armstrong.
So I'm really into this band called Athens at the moment, their guitarist has this sick tape he did on his back of his guitar, which i have done now. Goes super well with their music, hope it fits with mine :D

You Cried Wolf, New LogoType

So, i'm back! It's been a while and I've decided to get over a lot thats been holding me back. So here we go with my first design. My band www.facebook.com/youcriedwolf needed a new logo, so i set off to do it. I really dig it, it's really not the type of logo i love, but it came out well so im super happy, isn't as neat as i would've liked either. But hey it's time to get back into it. Here's a rad song for everyone :)

Okay.. so, im not here right now.

I havent been able to do any of my own work as iv been way too busy and now im being owned by sickness. So Hopefully in the next few weeks i'll have a new layout, illustrations and a few other things i have in mind :)

Practice, practice and practice.

Its all I've been doing, but, i myself am really amped to see where its going. Started a new project today to be uploaded. Heres some progress.

Been really getting into typography, especially Logotype. Iv been working with shapes a lot as well and drawing up fonts. This is something i really enjoy doing. I now spend hours looking at different type and fonts just to think what they are trying to portray.

I wish i was brit scum.

I have a new obsession.. And its a band called Gallows. Theres nothing more dirty and straight the point than them and their albums are just filled with words written by a lyrical genius. Iv been stuck on listening to their newest album, Grey Britain, Alex hates me for this because he thinks their older stuff is better, Its not better.. Its different and i enjoy it just as much! So yeah,take a listen to the album when you can if your into this sort of vibe.

I Dread The Night.

So i haven't really had a lot of time to myself lately and i thought id update my blog a bit. I'm not some amazing grammatically correct writer so forgive me for my mistakes. Iv been busy with my new job,its pretty rad.. just different to what i am used to. Thing i am hating most is i have about four hours to myself a day and thats really not enough time since three of those hours are spent either illustrating or drawing,but im not complaining about that. Anyway.. this post was actually about the odd dreams iv been having.. And they just keep repeating every single night, the past does haunt me is something iv come to realize. Wonder how life could be different right now. Tired of waking up with black eyes.

Time flies,years fly by,and i hate it.
